Reação da OAB à possível sanção dos EUA contra Moraes gera críticas e constrangimento
A Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (OAB) tornou-se alvo de críticas nas redes sociais após divulgar uma nota oficial considerada vexatória em defesa do ministro Alexandre de Moraes, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF). A reação da entidade veio logo após o governo dos Estados Unidos, sob liderança de Donald Trump, indicar a possibilidade de impor sanções contra o magistrado.
A proposta foi revelada na quarta-feira (21) durante uma audiência na Comissão de Relações Exteriores da Câmara dos Representantes dos EUA. Na ocasião, o secretário de Estado norte-americano, Marco Rubio, afirmou que há uma “grande possibilidade” de Moraes ser enquadrado na Lei Magnitsky – legislação norte-americana que permite sanções a autoridades acusadas de violar direitos humanos.
Em resposta, a OAB, por meio da Comissão Nacional de Estudos Constitucionais, emitiu uma nota condenando “qualquer tentativa externa de penalizar autoridades judiciais brasileiras”. No texto, a entidade afirma que esse tipo de medida configura uma “violação direta aos pilares da soberania nacional, da independência dos Poderes e da política de não intervenção”.
A nota, no entanto, rapidamente gerou reação negativa nas redes sociais. Internautas acusaram a OAB de agir como linha auxiliar do STF e de tentar blindar figuras envolvidas em decisões judiciais polêmicas. A expressão “nota vexatória” chegou a ser mencionada por usuários que apontaram parcialidade e submissão institucional.
A movimentação do Congresso norte-americano marca um ponto de tensão crescente nas relações diplomáticas entre o Brasil e os Estados Unidos, principalmente após o retorno de Trump ao cenário político.
