Conforme relatado por Alessandro Lo-Bianco, colunista do programa “A Tarde é Sua” da RedeTV!, a cúpula da TV Globo realizou uma reunião franca com Marcos Mion, na qual diversos aspectos foram discutidos abertamente. De acordo com suas informações, os executivos da emissora expressaram a necessidade de maior sobriedade por parte do apresentador, visto que, segundo análises, ele estaria adotando uma postura excessivamente infantil na condução do programa “Caldeirão”.
A TV Globo teria observado, como exemplo, que o programa está perdendo audiência entre o público jovem e, em contrapartida, atraindo uma audiência mais voltada para crianças. A responsabilidade por isso, de acordo com a emissora, recairia sobre o próprio Mion, cuja apresentação nos sábados da Globo tem sido caracterizada por uma abordagem mais infantilizada e caricata. Esses temas foram discutidos durante a reunião.

No entanto, conforme apontado por Lo-Bianco, Marcos Mion teria respondido. Segundo informações provenientes das fontes consultadas pelo colunista, o apresentador teria mencionado que não consegue adotar uma abordagem distinta, uma vez que sempre conduziu programas com essas mesmas características. Contudo, essa resposta aparentemente causou desconforto entre os dirigentes da emissora sediada no Rio de Janeiro.
No decorrer da reunião, a liderança destacou que em experiências anteriores, ele tinha uma abordagem mais jovial, mas que, considerando seus 50 anos, não seria apropriado manter uma postura tão infantil. Os executivos teriam enfatizado, adicionalmente, o desejo de ver um lado de Mion mais assemelhado ao que foi observado no contexto do “Criança Esperança”, ou seja, um comportamento mais sóbrio, porém ainda mantendo o seu senso de humor característico.
Lo-Bianco destacou que os gestores da TV Globo teriam comunicado, após o diálogo com Mion, que se o programa “Caldeirão” não obtiver sucesso e não registrar um aumento na audiência até dezembro, existe a possibilidade de sua suspensão. Ainda não foi realizado um estudo sobre possíveis alternativas para preencher o horário vespertino, no entanto, a emissora estaria demonstrando crescente apreensão em relação aos índices de audiência dos sábados.
No sábado passado (19), conforme informações do TV Pop, o programa “Caldeirão” garantiu a primeira colocação no horário com uma média de 12,7 pontos, estabelecendo uma posição bastante favorável em relação ao SBT e à Record TV. Apesar disso, o programa tem sido alvo de críticas nas plataformas de redes sociais, com usuários online solicitando a introdução de novas segmentações.
