Nesta última terça-feira, dia 1 de agosto, foi anunciada a morte da atriz Maria Helena Dias, que faleceu aos 91 anos de idade. A notícia foi confirmada por meios oficiais.
Ela ficou bastante conhecida por ter interpretado uma das protagonistas da novela ‘Elas por Elas’, exibida em meados de 1982. A informação foi confirmada por canais de comunicação neste último sábado, dia 5 de agosto.
De acordo com o que foi divulgado, Maria Helena estava internada em um hospital da região do Rio de Janeiro há cerca de 1 mês. Ela enfrentava broncopneumonia e uma trombose em sua perna.
Maria Helena começou sua carreira como atriz na extinta TV Tupi, em meados de 1950, após ter participado de um programa. Com isso, ao decorrer dos anos, ela foi integrando diversas novelas, se destacando por seu talento.
Em ‘Elas por Elas’, viveu a personagem Carmem, uma mulher que trabalhava para sustentar o marido, os dois filhos e o cunhado. Agora, a novela irá ganhar um remake, estando previsto para lançar no próximo mês.
A atriz estava afastada da televisão e dos palcos desde meados de 2007 após ter participado da série ‘Carga Pesada’. Apesar disso, é muito conhecida pelo público.
O corpo de Maria Helena foi sepultado nesta última quinta-feira, dia 3 de agosto, no Cemitério de Araçá, em São Paulo. Sem filhos, a atriz vivia ao lado de suas primas que também são idosas. Neste momento, muitos lamentam a partida da artista que se destacou no papel de Carmem.
