O ator Kayky Brito sofreu um acidente na madrugada deste sábado (2) na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. De acordo com informações, ele encontra-se hospitalizado na unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) e seu estado de saúde é considerado crítico.

O incidente resultou em múltiplos traumas corporais e lesões na cabeça para Kayky, após ser atingido por um veículo de transporte por aplicativo na região da Barra da Tijuca. Vamos agora examinar as duas condições médicas enfrentadas pelo renomado ator. O que é politrauma corporal

O politraumatismo corporal, também conhecido como politrauma, é uma lesão grave que afeta pelo menos dois órgãos ou partes distintas do corpo, e é causado por forças externas de natureza física, como colisões, ou química, como queimaduras.

O Dr. Alberto Gotfryd, ortopedista do Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, esclarece essa condição. Os acidentes de trânsito, frequentemente relacionados ao excesso de velocidade e à distração causada pelo uso de celular durante a direção, são a principal origem do politraumatismo corporal.

Os casos de politraumatismo podem abranger uma variedade de lesões, incluindo danos cerebrais, fraturas ósseas, lesões na coluna vertebral, hemorragias e outras complicações graves. O atendimento às vítimas de acidentes desse tipo requer uma série de medidas, como a manutenção das vias respiratórias, a imobilização da coluna cervical, o controle de hemorragias, além da realização de exames neurológicos para avaliar a capacidade da vítima de se comunicar e movimentar os membros superiores e inferiores.

O que é o traumatismo craniano

O traumatismo craniano, ou também chamado de trauma cranioencefálico, é uma lesão resultante do impacto na região da cabeça, de acordo com informações fornecidas pelo Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein.

Esses incidentes de traumatismo craniano costumam ocorrer em situações como acidentes domésticos, acidentes de trânsito, prática esportiva e também em situações de violência.Os casos mais graves geralmente envolvem sintomas como sangramento, perda de consciência, dificuldade na fala, náuseas e vômitos.

Para evitar o agravamento do problema, as vítimas de traumatismo craniano podem necessitar de imobilização do pescoço. Em situações extremas, pode ser necessário o tratamento de hemorragias e a realização de massagem cardíaca.
