Bruninho Samudio, aos 14 anos, abriu o coração em sua primeira entrevista sobre seu pai biológico, Bruno Fernandes, ex-goleiro do Flamengo e condenado pelo assassinato de sua mãe, Eliza Samudio, em 2013.
Geraldo Luís, apresentador do programa “Geral do Povo” da Rede TV!, conduziu a entrevista, na qual Bruninho estava acompanhado por sua avó e tutora legal, Sônia Fátima Moura.
Ao ser questionado sobre Bruno como atleta, Bruninho admitiu que seu pai biológico era habilidoso no campo, mas ressaltou que não era uma boa pessoa. Ele não nutre sentimentos de ódio, apenas pena.
Destacando-se no futebol, Bruninho recentemente assinou seu primeiro contrato profissional com o Athletico-PR. Com uma altura impressionante de 1,88 metros e um desempenho elogiado, ele treinará nas categorias sub-14 e sub-15.
O caso de Eliza Samudio ainda ecoa na memória coletiva. Desaparecida em 2010 aos 25 anos, o corpo de Eliza nunca foi encontrado. Na época, ela acabara de dar à luz Bruninho, fruto de seu relacionamento com Bruno Fernandes. A Justiça concluiu que Bruno planejou o sequestro e assassinato de Eliza.

Em 2013, Bruno foi condenado a 22 anos e 3 meses de prisão por homicídio, ocultação de cadáver, sequestro e cárcere privado de Eliza. Ela havia denunciado Bruno por obrigá-la a tomar remédios para abortar após revelar sua gravidez e pedir o reconhecimento da paternidade.
