Moraes decide arquivar investigação sobre Bolsonaro
O ministro Alexandre de Moraes, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), determinou nesta sexta-feira (28) o arquivamento do inquérito que investigava o ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro (PL) por suposta fraude no cartão de vacinação contra a Covid-19.
A decisão foi tomada com base em parecer da Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR), que defendeu o encerramento do caso ao avaliar que a delação do ex-ajudante de ordens Mauro Cid não trouxe provas suficientes da participação direta de Bolsonaro nas supostas irregularidades.
O arquivamento também beneficiou o deputado federal Guttemberg Reis de Oliveira (MDB), igualmente investigado e indiciado pela Polícia Federal no mesmo inquérito. Moraes, em decisão monocrática, concluiu que não havia elementos concretos para justificar a continuidade das investigações no âmbito do STF.
Para os demais envolvidos no caso, Moraes considerou a ausência de foro privilegiado e determinou o envio do processo para a Seção Judiciária do Distrito Federal. Caberá à Justiça Federal analisar o prosseguimento das apurações em primeira instância.
O inquérito apurava a possível inserção de dados falsos no sistema do Ministério da Saúde com o objetivo de simular imunizações contra a Covid-19, o que teria possibilitado viagens internacionais sem a necessidade de apresentar comprovante vacinal. Com a decisão de Moraes, a investigação envolvendo Bolsonaro no STF está oficialmente encerrada.
